This blog was set up in August 2009 by Transition Sunshine Coast – Australia’s first Transition initiative. Its a look at what’s happening with Transition Towns in Australia, Training for Transition Workshops and its your invitation to get on board for a thriving post carbon future!
A collective of people in and around Eudlo Village exploring how we can move from fossil fuel dependency to local resilience through permaculture, Transition Towns, saving seed and much, much more. Tackling climate change and peak oil, together as a Transition Town. Everyone is welcome!
The Sunshine Coast Energy Descent Action Plan has made it as part of Council’s Energy Transition project and will play an ongoing role there. Transition Town Eudlo is going strong with plenty of activities and community events happening.
More councils are starting to enquire about Transition Towns and their role in relocalising communities, particularly food systems. Together with permaculture design training, there are plenty of new innovative solutions starting to arise.
Keep an eye out for local Transition Town events in your area, or contact us direct and we’ll see what we can do to help organise something. transitiontowns@yahoo.com.au

We will be restoring some of the content that has been created by seac focusing on the information they have provided on this site previously on setting up transition towns. We believe this information is very informative and hence why we will be putting in the effort to restore some of the original content and add some of our own in the up coming months.

Some of the companies that have helped us restore the content are the following:

debtconsolidation.com.au a provider of debt consolidation loans to people needing to reduce their current debt.

lowratecreditcards.com.au a unique credit card comparison site only focusing on the lowest rate cards on the market.

balancetransfercreditcards.com.au focusing on listing all the balance transfer cards that enable you to pay lower rates for a shorter period of time to pay off the credit card debt.

comparecreditcards.com.au the mother of all credit card sites listing every single card you can find on the market along with some very useful calculators

Content regarding transition towns will be up on the site shortly
